Sep 25, 2006
The Jeep TJ/LJ/KJ vehicles are suffering from an embarassment of riches when it comes to aftermarket lift kits. Rubicon Express recently released a new kit for the LJ, featuring tri-link arms for the rear that eliminate the need for a rear track bar. This kit also replaces the factory skid plate in order to allow for the use of long control arms so you'll definitely be paying a premium for its premium design and performance.
The Rubicon Express Tri-Link suspension system features many of the components that make our trail proven Extreme-Duty long arm kits so popular. The new Tri-Link system will allow you to eliminate unwanted lateral rear axle movement by removing the rear track bar. The removal of the rear track bar also eliminates linkage bind while at extremes in suspension movement. The Rubicon Express Tri-Link provides suspension that is more responsive to driver input, is quicker to adjust to varied terrain, and because of the carefully calculated geometry, is the perfect balance of off-road performance while maintaining safe, predictable on-road handling. This kit features the RE3794 HDSF1 pivot ball assembly (also sold separately) that will provide 32 deg of misalignment. Available as a bolt-on application for factory Dana 44 axles.
