New for 2007: Pro-Comp Xtreme Mud Terrains
Nov 29, 2006
We were quite impressed when Pro-Comp introduced their first mud terrain tire, finding it be a great combination of off-road performance, quiet road noise, and durability. For 2007, Pro-Comp is introducing an improved version of that tire, the Xtreme Mud Terrain. This new tire adds more aggressive shoulder lugs and a triple-ply carcass to provide even better off-road traction and protection against sidewall damage. It will be available in sizes from 31" to 38".
Amor-Tek3 Carcass Construction
The heavy-duty Carcass is constructed of two
radial polyester body plies and one angled polyester
body ply to deliver three plies of protection for
superior resistance to impact breaks and bruising.
Deep Buttress Lug
The aggressive tread design extends far down the
sidewall of the tire to enhance its soft surface
traction and also provides additional "bite" in rock
