Suzuki Equator Mid-sized Pickup
Jan 7, 2009
If you love Suzuki's dealer network and customer service, then I suppose I can see the point in buying a Suzuki Equator. But other than that, what are the unique features that Suzuki is putting into their version of a Nissan Frontier?
I've always thought of Suzuki as marching to the beat of a different drummer when compared to the other Japanese truck / 4x4 builders. And in these tough economic times and a looming oil crisis, I expect to see a greater focus on smaller, more fuel efficient 4x4s. That's why it's weird to me that Suzuki is selling this re-badged, mid-sized Nissan. Hopefully it's just a temporary measure to develop intial sales in a new market for them (pickup trucks) that also lets them concentrate on putting their development efforts into a small, fuel-efficient range of trucks and 4x4s.
