San Luis Obispo, CA (February 13, 2009) - Poly Performance introduces high performance ring & pinion sets to boost torque and low-end power when using larger tires; and you can install them yourself!

With a simple ratio change, the Poly Performance gear sets reduce engine strain, improve fuel mileage, and provide more pulling power for uphill climbs and rock crawling. Gear sets are available in 5.38 ratio for Jeep Wrangler JK models, an optimum ratio for tires 37" and taller. Complete Installation Kits are available, including all shims, nuts, sleeves and other components to properly install both front and rear gear sets. The ring & pinion sets are compatible with stock and popular aftermarket lockers. Other gear ratios and applications will be available in the near future.

Each ring & pinion set is forged of high-strength 8620 steel, then CNC machined throughout with extra lapping for a central contact pattern and smooth, quiet operation. The computer controlled heat treatment process helps to ensure a long life and outstanding quality assurance.
