Ever get tired of hearing your buddy tell you about that 45 degree sidehill he conquered last week? You and I both know it was more like a 20 degree slope but how do you prove it? Well, Cascadia Instrumentation has the answer. They're a local company that sells inclinometers of all shapes and sizes. They carry industrial-grade, highly accurate gauges designed for real work, not for dressing up your dashboard.

Knowing the angle that your vehicle is operating at is important not only because of the obvious safety benefits but also because it can prevent engine damage from starved oil pumps.

Prior to our Rubicon trip, we ordered the model 7849c inclinometer from Cascadia and installed it on Project TJ. We were impressed with its performance. It was easy to read at all angles and because it was fluid-dampened, the angle indicator wasn't bouncing around like the vehicle's occupants. These gauges are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
